My baby boy is 5!

January 19, 2004 was a great day for the Limbricks! Jamison Meagher Limbrick was born weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, 19 3/4 inches long. Waiting for him were Mom, Dad, Gran, Michelle Sigler, Dr. Lewis, and wonderful nurses.

Here is Jam going home from the hospital. (As I write this Jamison just realized it was Keira's car seat he was in :)

Jamison is such a sweet boy! When he was one he had no words. He would look at things and point. His first word was "Hi" which is funny since he gets scared of people. "Dada and "Mama" followed. Some cute words were, "Aine" for plane and "toot toot" for train and "fumblebee" for bumblebee, oh and "Help Help" for a siren. (He still says "Elmo" for Elbow)

The photo to the right is Jamison and Clark in Long Beach, WA the summer of 2005.

A two year old Jamison was active! He learned that he loved sports and that running was the only fun way to get places. He was still mostly silent but he loved listening to us and reading books so we knew his speech was about to come. When he was two we moved houses and Jamison got a big boy bed!

Jamison found Byron's Marti Gras beads one day and for weeks wore them around the house.

At three Jamison began to assert his independence! He knew what he wanted, what he liked, and he couldn't figure out why he couldn't always get his way (hey, that sounds familiar :) When he was 3 I went back to work full time so Jam and Daddy spent a lot of time together.

This photo is Jamison's first time fully in the ocean. He let the water come into his mouth like regular water and was quite surprised that it was salty:)

In 2008 Jamison turned 4. We began to learn about him, how smart, funny, and charismatic he is. He is shy of large groups of people he doesn't know but if you get to be with him one on one watch out, he opens up right away. Jamison loves to throw himself on the ground, laugh, make funny sounds, and make people laugh. He is very sensitive to how people view him, always wanting to be "cool" In the summer Jamison became a big brother and he loves his sister with all his heart.

This photo is of Jamison visiting Auntie and Tony in London. Before we went he had to see Big Ben, ride on a Double Upper Bus, and see a taxi.

Today my baby turns 5. He is such a joy to have in our lives and even with the normal ups and downs of raising a child and helping with responsibility he constantly reminds us how lucky we are. Asking him now, "Jamison what am I most proud of?" he said, "Of me waiting (he wants to watch a video)"
