The freedoms of summer

I sit here, music playing, kids at daycare, Byron cooking ribs, reflecting. What a year it has been. I feel like the beginning of summer is freedom. I'm not sure if it's because I finally have enough vitamin D in my body, school is out, or because teachers have this horrible tendency to not have any personal fun time until the year is out.

I am no different, here are my freedoms that I want to explore:

sleeping in (at least until 7:30)
making Jam and walking with Janet
picking blueberries and having girl time with Dawn
cutting my hair
seeing all family members...Ethan, Bob, and some cousins so sorry!!
making Keira's stocking so this Christmas Santa doesn't leave her things on the hearth
making photo albums on Shutterfly
READING at least 2 books
Watching movies (I watched the Dutchess last night)
going to the beach with Amy and the lake with Michelle
seeing Kim!!
watching my baby eat birthday cake
sitting and having nothing to do (or at least pretending)
slowing down and absorbing....
