Slacker no more

Wow! School must have started. I have no excuse for taking so long in-between posts. Let's update starting with the youngest and moving to the parents:

Keira:

Is a walker, a talker, and most adorably, a dancer. Keira started walking on our family trip this summer. We were so glad our family was there to watch her. When we left to go back east, she could take one or two steps and when we returned home two weeks later, she was 100% a walker. She can go up and down our stairs, and while I cringe, I know this is a skill she must work on since we have stairs. Keira's words, in order, were cat, dada, mama, more, milk, and she has begun to say oh. What a doll. Watch out for our musical girl. She shakes to all music but as soon as you look at her, she stops! She loves to listen to music on my iPhone. She carries it around all the time. When there is no music playing she asks for it and dances as her signal, hey mom, turn on the music!

Jamison:

A reader, a baseball player, and a kindergartner! Jam started school Sept. 2. He goes all day T, W, and F. His teacher is Mrs. Barnum. He likes school. His favorite is recess (of course). His friends are Aiden and Ralph. Mrs. Apodoca (my friend) is his PE teacher and Mrs. Harris (my friend) is his principal. I guess he will be watched :) Jamison played his first season of t-ball. Playing catcher was his favorite thing to do. His team was the Yellow Yankees. Jamison just read to Byron for bedtime. The book was called Where? and the text said, "Where?" asked the little brown bear. "Where is my mother?" "Where is my father?"........."Where am I?" "I am lost. Can you help me?" AWESOME! Oh, and he has size 1 feet now!

Anne:

I started work last month. I work all day T, W, and F. I teach 48 kids writing. That's a lot of writing to read! I am home with the kids the other days of the week and I love it. I am staying busy cleaning up after Keira (who walks around the house opening things and taking them out), reading (I am finally back in a book club), playing Bunko with the neighborhood gals, and hanging out with Dawn, Sherri, Amy, and Michelle. My awesome birthday present this year was a new camera. I am loving playing with it and even took 100+ pictures at one t-ball game!

Byron:

Is super busy with work. He is always showing houses for people and has 4 houses currently listed. He is also co-agent for a new development so he is always on the go. Byron has been busy playing baseball in the cul-de-sac with Jam and the neighbors. Byron is a great party planner, with ranges from our Mexican Independence day dinner this weekend to our famous seafood feast in couple of weeks.
