Being Thankful

SO many times during the day we whine and wish for more. The kids and I took a moment tonight to stop and think about all the greatness in our lives. Here are parts of our conversation:

I think Jamison thought I was giving him writing homework. We talked about the wars (he really wants to know about WWI), kids who are cold and then he began his list: my home, my family, my friends, and my toys and my legos. I write words to show I am thankful. Or draw pictures. I write I am thankful I have freedom to go to school.

Keira's list was super cute. I like brother, I want to see the Kelso again mama. Okay, back on topic. Keira what do you like...then she went to play legos.

My list:
I am so thankful for the life I have, for my kids and my family. I am so glad I work with people who make me think and have friends who make me think even more. I am thankful I can go see my sister and her family, thankful my mom is nice to me, even when I am not being so nice. I am thankful I can turn the heat up in the house when I want to, and for coffee having caffeine.
