Our neighborhood 4th of July block party was bigger than ever this year. We had so much fun hangin' out with our friends and celebrating our independence from those cheeky brits :) We love you anyway Sarah, Tony, and Sam!

The evening started with a picnic dinner with ribs, fruit, salad, hot dogs, chips, yummy goodness!

What would 4th of July, or summer for that sake, be without watermelon...of course, if it is as big as your face it's even better!

We played in the cul-de-sac and did a great job sharing each other's toys...

We were happy to celebrate our colors....

and salute our troops....thank you for all that you do for the world.

Hayley had her hands full with all of her kids....of course she is Hayley mama! She is awesome!

Oh no....the fireworks started...even the ear plugs don't seem to help her. Will she make it through the night?

Oh no...I'm not sure....

Lee helping Jamison and Brandon light fireworks. No way I was going to help. I did hold my first rocket launcher and that was fun!

Stacy and the boys lighting more...

Jamison made it! It is the first 4th of July he was outside with us and not in the house. Good job, Jam!

Keira made it too! She was so much calmer once she got used to what was going to happen. She even fell asleep on the grass while we celebrated around her.
How I wish there had been a photo of how patriotic I was, a red shirt, blue jean skirt and white legs to complete the look! Oh well, the photographer is never captured :)
Jamison and his sparkler, his favorite part of the night :)
